With the success of a recent trial with Ofcom – Hospital Radio Plymouth moved frequencies to 107.3 fm across the hospital site. The new frequency allowed for more wards and areas of the hospital to receive the award winning service. The station broadcasts a mixture of music, news and information complemented with a team of volunteers who gather requests and interesting stories. Hospital Radio Plymouth is always looking for ways to broadcast further afield to cover nursing homes and other hospital buildings that are not able to receive the fm signal so when the option for small scale DAB came up they jumped at the chance.
